Now that relief effort have begun in the Southeast after Hurricane Florence slammed into the Carolina coast, many want to make sure the charity they give their time or money to is legitimate.  FEMA recommends finding a charity through the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, or NVOAD.  You can find their website here.
