Debbie Scott heard about the school shootings in Florida, and decided to do something about it.  Unable to change gun laws or influence other legislation, she chose to simply help teachers save money.  That’s why she started Help A Teacher, an organization that connects teacher’s classroom needs with patrons willing to supply the materials.  Debbie spoke to Melissa about how far the organization has come in a matter of months, and where she wants to take the initiative.
